DVC Hilton Head Resort Question

Hey guys. I am going to be traveling to Hilton Head in April. I am not staying at the DVC resort there, but wanted to stop by and check it out. Does anyone know if it is gated, and if so do you think it would be a problem for me and my wife to stop by there just to see the grounds, etc.? I "resort hop" frequently at WDW, but wasn't sure how the DVC HH was set up.

I am pretty sure the main office/check in is not gated. You can ask there. It's very nice to walk around!

Thanks! I've stayed there twice, but both times when I was much younger and barely remember it at all. My wife and I live in Charleston and are taking a long weekend to HH. Thought it would be fun to refresh the memory and check it out!

We were there in January. Yes, there is a gate at the front but if you buzz the check-in desk and tell them what you want they will surely let you in.
