Does anyone know when McDonald's Shamrock Shakes come out to the restaurants ? I'm very curious to know...

I haven't had a Shamrock shake in a long time. I didn't realize they still sold them around St Patty's Day.

They're just vanilla shakes with green dye, correct? Does the dye ever make anyone sick?

They are in the Chicago area. What I did was ask for mixture of Choc and Mint milkshake. yum

That sounds yummy!

I didn't like the Shamrock Shake at all...but it might be good with chocolate.

no they are a green mint shake. i have never gotten sick from the dye. they are really good if you like mint ice cream.

I had to go and get one of these after I saw this thread, lol. It was very yummy.

But now that I see you can mix it with chocolate I may have to go get another:thumbsup:.

I really have to remember to get one this year. I always seem to go into McDonald's to get one after they're gone.

Yeah that's what the lady at McDonald's told me. I remember Kelly Ripa said that she found out it's just vanilla with green dye which is why I asked.

Maybe they use green dye but there is definately mint in it too. I loves these and the egg nog shakes.
