Looking for unique ideas for an upcoming trip. We always like to experience something new and different, usually outside of the parks. Heres what we've done differently so far, thats out of the ordinary
Fireworks cruise, both Illuminations and Wishes
Cirque
Both dinner shows
Water mice
Pontoon boats
The parties
Horseback riding is scheduled
The tea at GF
Aqua Seas tour..
House of Blues brunch
Anyone have any different ideas? I was thinking of Fantasia Gardens as one idea..I'd love to hear more!

We did a "taste around the world" last year and had a blast at World Showcase in Epcot. There were 5 of us in our party including my DD (12) and DS (14). They still talk about this trip. We got most of our food from the counter service restaurants or from a store in that country. We made a point that each of the foods we sampled were authentic from that country. We also told the CMs what we were doing and they were more than happy to help.

Norway - Schoolbread
China - Red bean ice cream
Germany - Gingerbread Man
Italy - chocolates
Japan- rice candy
America - Funnel Cake
Morocco - We told them what we were doing and they actually put together a sampling plate of food for us.
France - pasteries
UK - we bought Digestives (a cracker/cookie combo) from one of the stores.
Canada - we bought the cheddar cheese soup "to go" from Le Cellier. We felt we got ripped off because we got such a small serving.

We had such a good time, that we will probably sample again when we go this year. It took about 2 hours for us to complete the whole trip around the world. Have a great time. This certainly made memories for us.

Who are the players involved? That can eliminate a few things like some back stage tours. Although a tour would still be a suggestion as there are some that include kids.

You could take in a Bob Jackson show at POR's lounge or Eliot Dyson at POFQ.

Along the lines of horseback riding, there are carriage rides that you can take at Ft. Wilderness and Port Orleans.

What about the water parks?

Check out the Coral Reef restaurant in Epcot. Ask for a table that looks into the aquarium. The last time we were there, a huge turtle drifted down and landed right in front of us. We also had the company of a huge fish for most of our meal - we both had steaks, no seafood.
We have also done the carriage ride at Port Orleans and another idea would be to rent a boat for Illuminations or Wishes.
One of the coolest things we did was take a Halloween carriage ride at Fort Wilderness this past October. We ended up being chased by the headless horseman!
Also, see if you can ride up front in one of the monorails. Very cool.
