? re: Passporters guide

I just booked our cruise today (our first) for May 10th 2009 - I was told to get the Passporters Guide - I checked online and a new one comes out in April - should I wait to get the new one or whill the old one be just as helpful. Is there a reason why I should get it sooner rather than later?
sorry for all the silly questions, this is our first vaca of any kind with kids and I am a nervous wreck!

Since you are not going until May I would get the new one. It will have more current info for you. But if you are like me and just need to have all the info for planing and can not wait get it now!!

Most of the new information is regarding the ports in 2010 and such. If you are on a standard itinerary, the 2008 version should be ok for you.

Look in the clearance section I think there was a deluxe edition at a pretty good price.
