Chef's Table to Pair or not to Pair?

Does anyone have experience at V&A's Chef's Table in regards to wine? :wine:
Can you select a wine from a list or do you automatically get a pairing suggested and served depending on what the Chef is serving that evening?
We finally were able to get 6 of us at the Table in May!:thumbsup:
We've experienced the Dining Room but have never been able to book the Chef's Table until now.

First, congratulations on getting the chef's table. I know you'll love it. They pair the wines expertly. Truth is, I never asked if I could get something different than the sommelier's suggestions. They can probably tell you over the phone when you call to confirm. Enjoy!
