Dining plan question

I am planning a trip to WDW in August. We are pretty much positive we wil be using the dining plan. My question is: if I book the plan and Disney decides to offer the dining plan for free as they have done in Augusts past, do I get a refund or am I out of luck?

You don't pay for it till you check in. So you won't be out anything.

I would recommend using Magical Journeys for your trip, they will rebook you at the new lower rate if any discounts come out for your trip.

Even if you book direct with Disney (which we did the first time), you can call, and have them apply the new deal to your package (although it can be a bit trickey!)

Payment for packages is due 45 days in advance, so you will know if you're getting free dining before that. Even if you do pay before then, you can get a refund. That happened to us once, we paid for our August trip and then free dining came out. We got a refund on the credit card!
