Did any of you call today to book BLT or THV? What did you get?

I got through right at 9am.

I now have a 1-BR with a Magic Kingdom View room at BLT booked for Dec 5 - Dec 12 (7 nights)!!!!

We had nothing but busy signal...when we got through once, we were booted out again before we got to a human. :bang:

I started calling at 9:00 AM... I kept getting "Your call did not go through" messages... I finally reached MS at 9:45, sat on hold until 10:15... Finally, a rep picked up.. I changed my reservations from two weeks at Saratoga Springs to one week at the tree houses and another at Bay Lake Towers..

I just don't like how I had to work out my points... I have 320 points total for this year... 140 for SSR, 100 for BLT, and 80 banked from 2008... Well, when I tried to book 5 nights at BLT with a MK view, the total points came to 175... I had to borrow 75 points from 2010, which I did not want to do.. Kicker is, I now have 75 points left over for 2009... Seems to me that they can easily use those 75 points for 2009 and NOT the points for 2010... Kind of screws me up with my points for next year now...

Finally booked for 2010 marathon and just to follow up from something posted from another thread...

I just asked for a studio, concierge, AKL - booked at exactly 11 months out - and did NOT get it for all 3 nights I'm there next January...I have been able to concierge before, but it is pretty tough to get. It was available for 2 of the nights - so I'm on a waitlist now...

Just an FYI.

WOOT!!! No Studios or One-Bedroom MK View left, but there was 2 bedroom!!! We took it since we are only going to be there for two nights, the points worked out perfectly.

Oct 11th and 12th - We're VERY excited!!!!

This morning was pure torture... :rant: :down:

To those of you who got through early - you do not realize how lucky you were.

We had 2-4 phones going at once from 8:55 AM on. It took me until 11 before I was put on hold (for another twenty minutes). :mad:

Why did DVC open reservation lines for BOTH THV and BLT on the same day??? They had to expect it to be a mob-scene. The THV will be "open for business" two months before BLT. So what's with the rush to have the reservation lines accepting for both today? Makes no flippin' sense to me...

For those wondering, I was able to book exactly what I wanted. Guess I did get lucky... :unsure:

I started calling at 7:56 Central Time - we had 3 phones going. I got thru at 7:59 and went thru a few prompts. My wait time was 2 minutes. I had my ressie switched over from normal 1-bedroom SSR ressie to the Treehouses by 8:06. I was really surprised how quick & easy it went.

Sorry for those who had issues.

I also was surprised that they'd have both ressie openings on the same morning - seemed like poor planning on their part.

Got thru around 9:15. We booked a studio at BLT for Nov 28 and then a 2 bedroom from Nov 29-Dec 1 and then we are heading to BCV (which we booked in January) from Dec 1- Dec 6th. Tried adding on another night at the end of BCV for Dec 7th but we are waitlisted.

When can I book THV for November 2010?
If SSR is your home resort, you can book Nov 2010 in Dec of 2009.
If it is not your home resort, you can book Nov 2010 in April of 2010.

Called at 9am and got through within 15 - 20 minutes and was able to book the THV for the end of October. Can't wait, dream come true. Good luck to everyone trying.

dvc mike , you must be the one who kept bumping me off the phone lines. i started at 8:30 and set my phone on automatic redial. i continued this until 11:30 am. i finally quit and went to brunch (which was fantastic) when i got back home at about 2:30 pm i tried and the call went strait thru.:thumbsup:

i did get 2 bedroom mkv for thanksgiving week.:pilgram:

i wondered why the 407 number would not ring at all. did anyone else experience that?:confused:

I got up early (just before 6am west coast time). I dialed right at 6am and got right through to a cast member. :mickey: We were able to change our pre-cruise stay at SSR from a 2 br to a treehouse villa! I felt bad reading that so many people had such long waits getting through.

Was I the only one trying to stay opening day?
It took an hour and a half but I got Bay Lake August 4th -9th studio. No MK views left, but that was okay. I booked SSR for the 3 days prior to opening day.

I am like you DizneyFreak2002, having different home resorts and having to borrow and bank has me so confused.
I gave my boss a week at SSR as a wedding gift. I had to borrow some points from next year to book. I had plenty of Bay Lake points but could not use them yet. So I had to borrow points, have some left from this year and have developer points that had to be used but could not be used for the SSR trip I gave as a gift... And my boss will be arriving a day late so I canceled a day that has to be used by a certain date.... :confused::confused: Yeah, I have no idea what I just said.

I have a question for all of those who booked BLT in late october early november. Was this your home resort? Just wanted to verify, as we wanted to book Oct 19 to Nov1 there in a 2 bedroom. Wondering what my chances are for getting in.

I think we are still in the window off time in which only BLT point owners can make reservations. I seem to recall the window being two weeks or so.

Someone will come along who knows for certain.
