Hello all,

Well, it’s that time again. The 2008 Top-7 Favorite Table Service Restaurants of INTERCOT members.
So, here’s how it works. I’m going to ask everyone to post his or her favorite Table Service restaurants, any number of favorites. After this thread runs for three weeks ('til Feb 19th), I’ll tally the results and make the top-7. We’ll break ties with a poll. Due to changes to the boards, I'll post the final results at the end of the thread only so once it's all done, you may have to go back a couple of posts to find the list.

Q&A:
Can I post more than once?
Yes, but only list a particular restaurant once

Can I only list 7 favorites?
as many as you want as long as each is a favorite of yours, I won't tell Stacie

Why is this the 2008 survey, it's '09 dude?
Since most of us haven't been for '09 yet, we're really rating our favorites for last year. It's like a periodical, but opposite.

Does it matter if I only like breakfast, etc?
For the purposes of this list, all meals are the same.

Will Jym add Sci-Fi if it makes the list?
It won't, but yes.

What if I haven't tried a new restaurant but I'm sure it's going to be da bomb?
A favorite is a favorite whether you've been there or not.

Can I list Counter Service or Snack carts?
No, we'll do CS as a different Top-7

What about non-Disney owned restaurants and non-dining plan restaurants?
Anything you follow a purple road sign to get to can be on the list

Is there anything I can do to help the polling?

With day one over, the first to hit double digits is Le Cellier, followed by 'Ohana and CG. I'm happy to see Y&Y getting some play early and I'm surprised to see Chefs getting, you know... votes. Sci-Fi, not on the board.

:ditto: ... wasn't that the BEST?? What a fun dinner we had... :) (but did you see my comment about the dessert in my trip reports I did for my January trip? :( I ordered my favorite Jack Daniel's and Bailey's mousse that I'd gotten in December, and they served it 1/2 sized!! The same Irish coffee mug, but 1/2 full. I was very disappointed... the waiter just told me they have a new chef, and are cutting costs. Very sad... they should've at least lowered the price, and changed the serving dish. :( So, word to the wise... be careful of that dessert... it's still yummy, but shrinking... )

Sigh-Fi had 5 votes, putting it tied for 31st place with Boatwright's and Tony's. It's a shame because Boatwright's is pretty good.
