Early check in at Beach Club

We will arrive in Orlando around 9:30-10 a.m for our vacation in May. What are the chances we will be allowed to check in early? Or...should we just find some shopping to do and check in later? We will arrive before the rest of our group of 12 and would like to be settled in before they arrive in the evening. We are getting a 2 bedroom villa, a studio, and my parents are staying in a room at Beach Club hotel.:confused:

You can check in as soon as you arrive. Whether or not a room will be available to you is another story. You can pre-register and store your bags with Disney. They will give you your room keys but not your room assignment (if your room is not immediately ready). Later in the day, you can call a telephone number they will give you. If your room is ready, you will then be given the room number.

Sometimes a room is available right away; sometimes not.

Last time we stayed at BC (Feb 07), we checked in early also - the lines were short. Our room wasn't available, so we explored and sat by the pool :swim:. They will check your carry on bags, so you don't have to lug them around.
