What does this line about busses mean?

NOTE: Transportation for Downtown Disney Resort Area Hotels guests is provided by an outside service running about every 30 minutes.

Does that mean busses that serve POR and POFQ are not actually owned by Disney? Does this make a difference in service?

I think this refers to the hotels in DTD, that are not disney owned. There are several across the street from the marketplace.

Yeah, that seems to refer to the non-disney owned hotels out on Hotel Plaza Blvd.

They all share a bus contract. It has in the past been about a 30 minute wait between, and drop off is at the parking lots for each of the parks, usually in the middle of the parking lot, quite a distance from anything that resembles shelter. It also doens't run very late past park closing, missing a bus means a cab or thumbing it.
