Pool Refurbishment

I know that January is a good time to close pools at the resorts for refurbishment.
But is it normal to have so many pools closed at the same time?

Martinique Quiet Pool: 01/05/09 - 01/30/09
*Contemporary Feature Pool: 01/05/09 - 03/15/09
*Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground:
Meadow Swimmin' Pool: 01/12/09 - 03/20/09
*Disney' Grand Floridian Resort & Spa:
Beach Pool: 01/05/09 - 01/23/09
*Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resort:
Stormalong Bay Pool: January 5 - April 15, 2009
*Old Key West Resort:
Old Key West Village Pool Slide: January 5-23, 2009

It is normal that from January to March pools close to be worked on.

Polynesian's pool will be down from the middle of February to the begining of March.

I believe that if the pools are closed at a resort while you are there that they usually tell you that it is ok to use the pools at other resorts although normally "pool hopping" is not allowed. If this is not correct I am sure someone will come along and correct me. :thumbsup:
