Jan. 11, 1995 – The Disney TV series “Unhappily Ever After” debuted on the WB Network. (Ended Sept. 19, 1999)
Jan. 11, 2001 - Downtown Disney at Disneyland had its Grand Opening and would open to the public the next day.
Jan. 11, 2002 - “Variety” released that Disney would develop a script for the “Haunted House” movie.
Jan. 11, 2002 – The “Superstar Limo” attraction closed in Disney’s California Adventure.
Jan. 11, 2003 – Although it would be released direct-to-video in 10-days, Disney’s “101Dalmatians II: Patch’s London Adventure” had a theatrical premiere.
Jan. 11, 2004 – The 11th Annual “Walt Disney World Marathon and Half Marathon” took to the streets in WDW.
Jan. 11, 2004 – Disney’s “Pirates of the Caribbean won a People’s Choice Award for favorite motion picture at the 30th annual event.
Jan. 11, 2004 – According to Box Office Mojo, Disney’s Finding Nemo was #9 in World Wide All-Time Box Office Grosses (as of this day) at $821.3 million. Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean came in at #18 at $653.4 million.
Jan. 11, 2005 – Disney released 4 Walt Disney Classic Cartoon favorites to DVD. The vintage collections include Walt Disney’s Classic Cartoon Favorites: Volume 1: Starring Mickey, Volume 2: Starring Donald, Volume 3: Starring Goofy, and Volume 4: Starring Chip ‘n Dale.
Jan. 11, 1005 – American Pride Seafoods partnered with Disney to develop frozen Seafood Products featuring Disney characters. The products would feature Mickey Mouse, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, and Lilo and Stitch.
