Use Year Question - buying now at AKV

I'm SOOOOO close to convincing DH to buy-in before the jan 15th price increase. He has a use year question though.

If we buy into AKV now, can we specify that we want a Dec use year? Has anyone bought recently and know the availability left for various use years at AKV?

If we do get a Dec UY, will we get 08 points or will we not have any points (other than the developer points, I mean), until Dec 09? (And yes, I know if we do get 08 points, we can't use them until May 1.)

Probably all questions for your guide.

The only one I would guess at is the Dec UY, and as far as I know, there were NOT any 08 points, or at least we didn't get any when we bought a while back. I think the AK rooms that were villas WERE 08 use year points, but those went fast.

I don't know about availability, but when we did a recent small add-on, we were given a September use year to match our original "master" contract, and we were told we wouldn't have any points available ( or pay dues, I believe) until the September 09 use year. If that helps any...
