When I used the WDW search engine and got quotes on rooms it said I was getting 7 day basic tickets?!? Do you all think this was a mistake? It happened more than once. I know people are posting on here that it is a 1 day pass with the stay but that is not what I am coming up with. Can anyone clarify?

I think the girls at MJ replied to a post similar to this. To get the 3 free days of park tickets, you have to purchase 4 day passes. So the website was correct in this case.

At any other time you would only have to get a one day ticket to count as a package, but the b4g3 deal has different rules.

Hope this helps.

No, to get the 3 free park days you need to purchase a 4 day base ticket.

We booked with the buy 4 get 3 offer and we did 7 nights with 7 day park passes. We will pay extra to upgrade the base tickets to park hopper when we arrive. I'm pretty sure that when you book a package like that you get passes that correspond with the number of nights you are booking.

In order to get the 3 free park days, you need to pay for 4.

You can add hopping on at time of booking, you do not have to wait to upgrade when you are there. (unless you so desire)

You can book a 4+3 and only have one day base tickets. We have done many of those for your annual passholders.

When doing the 4/3 price search through WDW, you have to go in & change it to a 1 day pass if that is all you want. They automatically put it at 7 days, assuming you'll need tickets for each day there.

No,it's not different rules. I'm afraid you're misinterpreting the rules.

You very much can book the Buy 4 Get 3 Free package and buy 1-day tickets.

Buy a 1-day ticket, get 0 park days for free.
Buy a 2-day ticket, get 0 park days for free.
Buy a 3-day ticket, get 0 park days for free.
Buy a 4-day ticket, get another 3 park days for free.

The 3 free park days (getting a 7-day ticket for the price of a 4-day ticket) only represents about a $9.59 savings. The REAL savings with the Buy 4 Get 3 Free deal is the room rate, getting 7 nights in the room for the price of 4 nights (buy 4 nights, get 3 nights free).

My mistake, I thought the OP was trying to figure out why the website was automatically giving 7 day passes when the b4g3 promo was put in and why some people were able to get a one day ticket and still get the free days. So I based my answer on the fact that I thought the OP wanted to get the free park passes and to do that you have to get the 4 day passes, not one day passes.
Sorry for the mistake.
