Are there coffee makers in the room at POFQ? I'm from Louisiana where we drink very strong coffee and I have a feeling that the coffee they sell just won't cut it. It would be great if I could make my own with coffee grinds from home.:coffee:

Only 25 days until I leave!!!! YAY!!!:joy:

Nope, the rooms do not have coffee makers. They want you to purchase the coffee they offer at the dining halls. I could be wrong, but when we stayed at POR there were no coffee makers in 01.

Are you sure about this because the Disney website lists a coffee maker as one of the ammenities? But then I read about people using the refillable mugs to buy coffee at the resort. I'm confused...........

We were just at Riverside and they do have coffee makers in the room. So I would imagine that they do also at French Quarter. Dec 13-15.

All moderates have coffee makers.Back in 01 they might not have but they all do now.We also enjoy our own coffee so we bring it from home.Just remember to bring 4 cup coffee filters, they don't sell them at the resorts.

I don't think those Florida coffee pots could handle Community Coffee anyway.

POFQ does have coffee makers in all the rooms
and they also furnish coffee, creamer and
sugar. There is also a small fridge in every
room as well. :mickey:

I was told that they are the basket style, but just to be on the safe side I am also bringing some #2 cone filters!
Looking forward to our vacation!

Just make sure to go get some Beignets from the food court to drink with your Community Coffee!!!!! The Beignets are actually really good there. Now, they're not Cafe Du Monde but they are pretty darn good!!!! We LOVE POFQ!!!! Make sure to walk around the resort too. It's kinda like a clean New Orleans and the boat down the river to Downtown Disney is so worth taking!!!! :mickey:

Yes, we're looking forward to being in the French Quarter atmosphere without the actual French Quarter smell. :ack:

Yes, the smell is not there!!!! We also got some really good pictures that you would think were taken in New Orleans, but are taken in the courtyards there. It's probably our fave resort after AKL.
