Which resort for Photo Pass Portraits?

We will be arriving the week after Thanksgiving and are thinking of having the portrait session done. What are yalls opinion on what resort to have it done? We were told we have the choice of : Animal Kingdom, Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Saratoga Springs, Wilderness Lodge and CBR. I think those were all of them. Since it will be Christmas I'm sure they will all be decked out making for even more beautiful backgrounds. I haven't been to any of these at Christmas so we don't know which one to choose. We have stayed at Wilderness Lodge before and can imagine there will be some really good pics there but also considering Animal Kingdom, Poly and Grand Floridian. Any suggestions? THANKS!!

For shear beauty, I'd go with the Poly, but if you specifically want Christmas stuff, I'd go with the Wilderness Lodge or Grand Floridian.

This might be a dumb question, but what are the photo pass portraits? What kind of pictures do they take at the resorts?

I have only done the pictures in the parks with the people that are standing in front of the rides or whatever with their cameras and then scan your photo pass.

What are yalls opinion on what resort to have it done?

What resort do you think best reflects your family's "personality" - WL, AK, Poly or GF? I'd think about the theming of each resort and try to match it to what your family is most like, and where you'd be most comfortable.

For instance, while we love the lushness of the Poly, we are WL people at heart and would prefer the backdrop of the lodge itself and its outdoorsy surroundings versus a tropical setting.

Good luck in your decision! We saw many families taking advantage of this at WL this past summer, and it looked fun! :mickey:

Thanks for the opinions. I am torn between Grand Floridian and Wilderness Lodge. I would say we are definately more Wilderness Lodge type people...we have stayed there before. However, the way everyone is talking about Grand Floridian and the decorations I think I want to choose that one. We are definately looking for something to use for Christmas pictures.

I would probably choose WL because it has the most "christmasy" feel to me. I've never stayed there but I went to see it and it was so nice @ christmas time.

I was at WL last week and saw quite a few people having this done. If you want it done right after Thanksgiving, you may want to book soon. The background cannot be beat in my opinion.
