Does any park other than Magic Kingdom have opening ceremonies?

Yes, our favorite is being at AK when it opens. They do the rope drop in front of The Tree of Life with many of the characters in safari gear - a lot of fun.

One year when we visited MGM for Star Wars weekends they sort of had a little opening ceremony with the storm troopers. I wouldn't call it a full on opening ceremony, but the kids sure enjoyed it.

Yep, each park has some type of "Opening Ceremony". Don't be surprised, however - the other three parks begin admitting you into the park before the ceremony begins. Once they stop you, you'll know that is where they will hold the "Ceremony". :mickey:

All parks have opening ceremonies, and, correct me if I'm wrong, all parks choose a "Family of the Day" to conduct these ceremonies (maybe not AK). If you're there early enough and get chosen, the perks are GREAT!!
