upgrade to preferred?

We just booked our trip through AAA and they were unable to get us a preferred room at ASMU...is it possible to upgrade once I get there? I have a 6 year old and a newborn and it is just easier to be in the preferred.....

If they have a preferred room available for your stay, and you are willing to pay for it, then sure, it can be done at time of check-in. Just don't get your hopes up.

Considering the demand for preferred rooms I'd say the chances of paying for an upgrade at checkin are very slim.

Was AAA able to get you a significant discount?

They came in $400 under Disney. And thats 2 plane tickets for us so it was considerable.:thumbsup:

I would call that considerable or significant or considerably significant.

Did AAA try a different Value resort? I'll bet ASMu bldgs 6 and 7 are about the farthest from a bus stop of any building anywhere at WDW...

yes, they tried others, but we really prefer Music...we have stayed at all of them and just like music the most. Hey, whats another 100 yards on a Disney vacation?;)
