Not sure if this is where this question should be posted, but can anyone give me any information on the kennels?? Any past experiences would be warmly welcomed too. Thanks!

We haven't used the kennels in the past two years ( I believe they've changed who's running them in that time ) but I will tell you when we did use them we were always quite pleased with it. Our dog is our baby and we wouldn't travel without her. When we used the kennels she always stayed in them the full week we were there, day and night. We used the EPCOT kennel as it was the most convienent for us. I believe they will now walk your dog for you if you wish but we always chose to stop by 3 - 4 times a day to walk her ourselves. The kennels were always immaculate and air conditioned. They are also sound proof so if your dog has a fear of fireworks, as ours does, you dont have to worry about them hearing them. Maggie was always quite pleased with her little vacation and never failed to run back to the air conditioned kennels after a walk out in the florida heat.

We always liked that even after hours when the kennel closed you could contact park security and they would escort you into the kennel so you could take your pet out for a walk. With the change in owners of the kennels I'm not sure if this is still the policy but it was when we were there last.

I will forwarn you, bring every type of identification you have as to their shots and make sure you call the kennels well in advance to find out what shots you need them to have in order to use the kennel. I know you need to get the vaccine for kennel cough, which is not a normally given vaccination.

 Our black lab always did well in the kennels and we wouldn't hesitate to us them again. If you have anymore questions feel free to message me.

I have used the kennel for my two dogs the last 2 times we have went. I have been very pleased with the kennel. To start off, My dog's are like my children so I would not recommend anywhere I was not happy with or felt safe boarding them at. The best one I feel is Epcot. Unlike other parks, You are able to park in a special area of the park that is in walking distance of the kennel. So you do not have to take them on the tram car. Even though they were fine, taking them on the tram car always made the ride for me very stressful. Plus if you board them at Epcot, when you are visiting that park you don't have to take transportation to go to visit your dog, As the kennel is located at the entrance. We will be boarding our dog's here during our next trip 12/16-12/22. Now because of the new ownership they also walk your dog's 2 times per day and feed them 2 times per day, All included in your fee. Plus you can now make reservations, Before they did not offer either of these service's. So that is a Huge plus in my book. The kennel/cages are similar to kennels at the vet's office. A gate front they can see through and the sides were solid, If they had a neighbor they would not be scarred. The bottom of the floor was solid, So you wont have to worry about their feet getting stuck in a grate. I also bring my dog's some sort of bed or blanket from home to put in there so they feel safe and comfy. Also, They have different size's of kennels based on how big your dog is. They keep the big cages on the floor and the smaller cages are higher up off the ground. My one dog had a neck injury when he was a puppy, And he is very squirmy and hard to pick up without the fear of him falling from so high up in the air, So I also request a bottom cage for him and they have no problem letting me have one. If you have an special request such as I have you should let them know when you call to make the reservation's. I am boarding my Dog's at the Epcot kennel because that was my favorite out of all the parks, And I actually picked my hotel based on where they are staying, So I can go visit them whenever I miss them. If I can help with anything else let me know, Hope you have a great time!

I don't have any personal experience with the kennels at Disney World, but I thought you might want to check out the information on them that we have right here on INTERCOT (there's a link in the info central section of the site):
