Photo to disc

Isn't there a machine out there where you can put your pictures in it and make a cd? I think I've seen an advertisement for it, but now that the time is here when I want one, I can't find it. I guess it would be easier if I knew what it was called. :blush:

What kind of pictures? What format do you have them in now?

Just regular photos, most of them 4x6s. Some are wallets and a few of them are larger. My mom has given me all of the family photographs to disseminate to the family. I figured the best way would be to make a cd for everyone instead of making 4 copies of each picture.

You need to get a scanner. I've got a Canon8400 which wasn't expensive, but can be hard to find. You scan the images to your computers hard drive and then to CD's.

I thought there was a stand-alone unit that you didn't need to have connected to your computer. I can do it that way, but it'll take forever!!
