A hot day in the Florida Sun can be draining. When I am in Epcot on a hot day, I will go into the Universe of Energy just to sit in the air conditioning for almost a full 30 minutes while still enjoying an attraction. What attractions do you like to use as your "cooling off" spot in the theme parks?

The movie at the French Pavilion is a good place to cool off and it gives you a chance to rest your feet!

We also do TTA to relax and cool off a bit. We used to like to go into Ice Station Cool back when you had to walk through all the ice and everything.

Carosel of Progress is a great opportunity for us to cool down and get my 2yo daughter to take a nap.

I keep a list with me of the indoor, air conditioned spots and look for the closest one when it gets too hot. Last time I cooled down in the Tiki Room.If it's not near meal time, you can go to the CS resturants, maybe get a soda, and just sit for a while. Ialso like the Carousel of Progress and in AK, I enjoy going out to the Conservation Station building.

Oh yeah! Wasn't that something, the tunnels of freezing temps to cool the skin and boy did it work. In fact, most times, people were scampering to get into the warmer store to get out of the Florida cold.

And the best part, the refreshing cups of Beverly. :D

In HS, the Great Movie Ride is good - you're inside watching movie clips while you wait.

In Epcot, Innovations is a cool spot that usually isn't that crowded. Not very exciting things to do there now, but a cool spot.

River Rapids Ride... That is a great way to cool off.. Plus, you dry out in just a few minutes..

My best tip is stay away from animal kingdom when the mercury rises and the humidity is 100%. Hot-Hot-Swelteringly-Hot!

Holy Cow! You've got that right! We figured we'd hit AK on one of the hotter days during our stay thinking that with all of the plants it would be shadier and cooler. Turns out it is on average 10 degrees warmer at AK than the other parks. Bad decision!

Any 3D show, TTA, Ellen, and at AK any thing that is indoors is good for me

We go in December. I wouldn't go to WDW in the summer if it were free.:sun:

I love the Rose and Crown and an ice cold pint of Guinness at midday when its just too hot in the parks.

But in the parks we use a squirty fan to stay cool, its always my first purchase when I get to the parks.

Tried drinking slush but got brain freeze.

We also like the Little Mermaid at DHS. Dad says its the best place on property to sleep  We like Maelstrom too. At MK the TTA is a favorite and they usually let us go around several times without getting off (that's all my Dad and sister did while Mom and I waited for and rode Space Mtn.), IASW, POTC, Splash, and Country Bear Jamboree. Anything dark and in a boat is nice or in side a theater!
