crowd levels december 11-17

We have our trip planned next year on december 11-17, 2009. We have never been there in december. How is it? I wanted to avoid christmas but i had to wait until my semester at school is over to go.

That particular week isnt bad especially as its the week before the real christmas crowd come in

I went around that time 2 years ago, and the crowds were heavy on the weekend, but it wasn't bad during the week.

We were there during that time in 2006 and 2007 (12/5 - 12/18). I would say crowds are moderate to slightly heavy during the week, especially toward the end of that time frame (week days got heavy toward the end).

Weekends are crazy busy. Didn't matter which park we were in, either. They were all packed.

Even on the "slower" week days, popular rides had 60-120 minute waits (Soarin', Peter Pan, TT, Splash, Space, BTMRR, EE).

We learned to stay away from any park that had EMH that night. The crowds were insane. It was the same this this past October, too.

We were there in December last year (2008) and I think the dates were the 15 - 20. I thought the crowds were great until the 19th. I'm usually there in the summer months and I thought the crowds in December were less. We had a great time. The lines for Soarin and Test Track were the worst we experienced but they are always bad (at least they are in my experience!). :)
I also found the people to be more pleasant - maybe because they were in the holiday spirit. You'll have a great time!

Was there same timeframe in 2006. The only very crowded conditions surfaced during the Tuesday night VMCP. The most popular rides had normal wait times, but FastPass cures those ills.
