When Is Your Spring Break?

I'm trying to figure out what kind of crowds I'll be facing the week of March 29th. When is your child's spring break? Please let me know your region too.

Our Spring Break is the week after Easter (April 13-17). We're in the south (Louisiana).

I am also interested in answers to this. Our spring break is March 13 - March 22. We are thinking of a trip and wondering what type of crowds we will face.

Northern Virginia area is April 6th-10th

Here in PA, many of the colleges have spring break either the first week or second of March.

In South Florida public schools are out April 6-10. I, too, was curious about crowds. Thinking about planning a trip for DS4 b-day, Feb27-Mar 2

In Illinois where my nephew lives (I live in Michigan) it's March 30 to April 3rd. We are going to be at the Marriott World Center during that time period.

Last spring break it was a zoo, literally, but if you got to the parks at opening it was very manageable during the mornings. :thumbsup:

Easter is April 12th.

In Connecticut it is 4/10 to 4/17.

We have March 14 to 22 off...however, the town next to us, has the following week off. Just around my Northern Colorado town, the different districts have different weeks! Windsor, Greely, Loveland are always a week after Fort Collins. We follow the CSU calendar here.

Colorado tends to spread Spring Break out due to the ski areas so they are not completely overwhelmed!

We were there this past Spring break. It was 2-weeks after Easter. Crowds were manageable in the morning. Afternoons became very annoying. We did everything we wanted early, met characters, watched shows and watched parades in the afternoons. I don't think it matters which week your Spring Break is, I expect it to be very similar unless it is over the Easter weeks.

We are headed down the week of 3/29 also. We chose that week in the hopes that it would be between breaks. In the north east it is fairly typical to have break the week after Easter.

Alabama is March 16-20th

It seems the current trend around here is now to go the last week in May.
We get out of school on May 19th for the summer, and many are heading down then. This seems to be a little earlier than most school systems.

We live in the Indianapolis, IN area and have spring break the week on March 29th, but all school districts are different in Indiana.

So not bad for the beginning of the week, and picking up after that. The weather should be gorgeous, not too hot... I'm so excited that you get to go to WDW this year!!

Our Spring Break is March 13-22 for West St. Louis County Missouri.

My SIL in Charlotte, NC is April 13-17.

We live in North Georgia and it's always the first full week of April, no matter when Easter falls.

Here in our part of NC, my kids school has spring break the week after Easter this year. I know some schools in our immediate area however start their break around Wed. before Easter and are out the entire week afterwards.

I wish we could go this year, but it's looking more and more unlikely. That's fine though, because our new home is becoming more and more likely.

On Long Island some of our school districts are off the week before Easter ( mine is) and some are off the week after.

We went during the week we had off in April 08 ( mind you Easter was a month earlier) and we did not find the crowds to be too bad.

Here in San Antonio it's the week of March 8th.

I think we might just have to go over Spring Break. Looks like that's about the least busy time in spring. Need to renew my touring plans membership so I can check out that crowd calendar!

We're in North Jersey, and we break the week after Easter. We thought about a trip then, but airfare was beyond outrageous! Couldn't justify that, there are 5 of us!

My kids have spring break Mrach 20-Aril 3. We are going to disney March 3-13 though. This year we went March 10-17 and we were surprised at how great the weather was and the crowds weren't at all bad. We live in Central Missouri

We live in East Tennessee and my kids are out on spring break the week of March 23rd. They used do have their spring break a week of two earlier in March, but that changed last year.
