Saturdays at AK [Archive] - INTERCOT Boards

We are going to WDW the Friday after Thanksgiving!! Thinking about going to AK on Saturday. Anyone know about the crowd level and wait times on Saturdays?

We went on Saturday, October 18th - arriving around 11:00. We managed to ride all the rides we wanted - fast passing Everestt with an hour to eat before using the passes. I think Magic Kingdom and Epcot are more of a pull due to the MK's appeal and the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot on the weekends. But, being a holiday weekend, you may be up for more of a wait than normal.

All the parks through Thanksgiving weekend are quite crowded. Use fastpass and bring LOTS of patience that day.

We are going at the same time. We are goint to MK on Friday night and the Epcot for the CP on Saturday. Hope it will not be too bad.

October 18th ain't going to be nothing like the weekend of T-day. It will be very busy. Get up early, enjoy yourself and have a good time!
