Resort Holiday Decorations - When do they go up?

Hello,

We are going to be at Disney World from November 16th to the 22nd. Will be arriving to early to see the holiday decorations at the resorts such as the Gingerbread House at GF or the Christmas tree at WL.

I wouldn't count on seeing the gingerbread house. It's not usually finished until right at Thanksgiving, but there's a possibility it will be mostly finished by the end of your trip. The tree at the Wilderness lodge will probably be completely up at some point during your trip. Really, things start going up Nov 1, but it's a month long process getting it all finished.

I noticed the MVMCP starts on Nov. 10, so they must have a lot of stuff up by then.

Do you have to be a guest at the resorts to go in and look at the decorations?? The DW and I and all the kids want to go looking at the resorts on our "down day". This way we are still doing Disney stuff but arnt getting overwhelmed.
I would hate to get to the door and be turned away cause we were not staying there.
