Anyone going to the Sayville Fall Festival this weekend? My DB has organized the BBQ Competition piece of it and I told him I would be the rovong photographer for him. Besides the BBQ comp. there will be food demos and grilling competitions and guest chef George Duran from food network ( ham on the street/ secret life of..) will be there on Saturday!! I love that guy, such a quirky sense of humor! Anyway if anyone will be there and wants to meet up let me know!

If the rain is not too bad I may try to stop by. I'm in North Coram so I am not far from there at all.....uummmmm did someone say Bar B Q??????

Yay! It is amazing BBQ, these teams are competing as per KCBS (Kansas city BBQ Society) for a ranking. They are not vendors, you need a license to sell food, so they get vendors to come in and sell. But they are all very friendly and happy to talk about what they do! I will be the one with the camera and Mickey Mouse jacket!!
There are also rides for the kids, live music, a great day!
