Anybody know how long is the drive from Lake City, FL or the gates of WDW? We'll be making the last short leg of our journey on a Sunday morning.

It should be about a 2 1/2 hour drive. Just a hop, skip and a jump away! :mickey:

One of my land marks is the old fighter jet that you pass right around the Lake City area. It is and old white A-7, and is on your left as you are heading south. When I see that, I know I am 2 hours away from the Western Way Disney enterence:mickey:

If we get a really late start, we usually stop around Lake City to stay the night. It took us around 2 1/2 hours to get to Disney World once we got back on the road. :mickey:

Yes, we are coming from near Baton Rouge, and if it were just my family of five, we could be on the road by 6:30 am and drive all of the way in, but my dad and stepmom are coming with us. They have a hard time getting moving early. I figure we'll just leave around 9:30, take our time, and spend the night in Lake City. Sometimes I have second thoughts, but I think this will be the least stressful idea for everyone involved! :)

About 3 hrs. We always stop there and spend the night on our way home, so that we can stay a few hours at the parks on our last day:mickey:
