So life's been hectic since I got back from WDW last week so that's why I'm just posting this now. But on 10/11, my boyfriend, Robert, proposed to me! I'm so happy! I figured I would just copy & paste the story from my Facebook page! lol :)
It was Saturday October 11, and we were in Epcot around 6pm. My favorite country in World Showcase is Mexico for many reasons including the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the shopping, the ride, etc. I also think it's the most romantic. Robert knew this of course. So I pointed out the paper flower cart to Robert once we were inside since I told him I wanted to buy a flower. While I was looking at some flowers and picked up a blue one, he turned around, got down on one knee, and proposed. My answer was, "Of course you know I will!" And he slipped the ring on my finger and we embraced. It was wonderful. A few people saw us in the back and clapped and said congratulations. Robert knows I didn't want anything too public since I'm shy and I wouldn't want 100 people clapping and looking at me, lol. He of course bought me the flower I was holding when he proposed and another purple one since it's my favorite color.
The next day we bought Bride & Groom Mickey ears and wore those for part of the day, along with Just Married buttons with the "Just" crossed out and the words "To be" written in. We got a free locker rental and 2 Splash Mountain fastpasses. We had dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table that night and had the most perfect table. It was right by the window and it overlooked Fantasyland. We watched the fireworks explode around us as the lights dimmed and the music played. It was lovely.:cloud9:
We want to get married in WDW of course. We're hoping for 11/11/11 since we're both November babies and it's an awesome date, lol. We want to wait until we're out of school since we don't want to live in separate places and be completely broke while married. My Mom said we should call Disney when I go home next month and put a deposit down for that day since it's probably popular. So here's hoping! Our second choice is 9/10/11 which I'm sure is just as popular, lol.
Here's a picture of my ring. :) http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b154/xxliz28xx/100_2786.jpg Thanks for reading! :D
