My Husband Loves Sushi So I Would Like For Us To Have A Great Dinner. We Will Not Be Taking Our Kids. It Will Be A Date Night. Any Suggestions Will Be Greatly Appreciated.

Everything was wonderful at the California Grill, including the beautiful sushi.

kimonos in the swan is by far the best.
it opens at 5:30 and gets increasingly crowded, go early or wait!

The new sushi bar next to Kona at the Poly is really good also.

Tokyo Dining in World Showcase's Japan is also one to try, but I love the California Grill's sushi if I were to pick a favorite. Plus, the views are breathtaking.

We ate here last week and were very pleasantly surprised. The dining room is lovely- very peaceful, relaxing, with tables far enough apart that you'll forget that you're at WDW until you look out the window. We had a tempura and sushi combination that was delicious. Next time (and there will definitely be a next time) we'll do all sushi.

I've heard lots of good things about the sushi at Tokyo dining. We are having our first meal of vacation there in January. I can't wait:thumbsup:

I've had the sushi at the California Grill and Wolfgang Puck's. Both were excellent.

California Grill is number one for me. Yoshi is a doll.
Honorable Mention to Tokyo Dining.
my first sushi ever was at Kimonos yrs ago.
CA Grill is awesome.
Tokyo Dining is great too...
Id be hard pressed to pick between CG & TD...but TD is cheaper & the servers were great. They are from Japan.
View wise, CG gives you a good view of MK, the lagoon etc from the 15th floor of the COntemporary.
TD has a nice view of Epcots lagoon.. & the interior is nice too.

I would vote for sushi at CG. We ate at CG during our trip in August, we had requested a seat by the open kitchen, but none were available, so they offered seats at the sushi counter. I think there are only 2 or 4 spots available. We sat there and had a wonderful time. The sushi was amazing! I had the tuna 3 ways. Yoshi is great, we talked to her throughout our meal. Definitely, on our plans for next trip.

My DS and DW both loved the sushi at Tokyo Dining. I'm not a sushi eater and was pleased with the other options available to me. Everyone was happy.
