I am off to WDW in 8 days:cloud9: and after much planning and research somehow this parade slipped through. I had not clue about it. I cannot seem to find out what time it begins, does anyone know? Additionally, if anyone has any tips as to where is the best place to watch it with 3 small kids and 7 adults that would be great!

Thank you for your replies.

I could be wrong, so don't take my word for it, but I am not sure it is there anymore. The last time I saw it was in May 2006.

It wasn't there Feb 2008.

I think they replaced with with some HSM block party bash deal. Somebody help me out here...

It wasn't there a month ago when we were there, and if it was, then I never saw it. I think it was replaced by the Pixar Block Party Bash, but I could be wrong.

Right after I posted the question I was starting to think that is what happened. Thanks for your help.

DSMC is gone. It was replaced in March 2008 with BPB.

I believe the Stars & Motor Cars Parade was shipped off to Disneyland Paris.
The current parade in Disney Hollywood Studios is the Block Party Bash, it came from Disney's California Adventure.

Now can someone find where they put the Main Street Electrical Parade?

DW and I saw the BPB a little over a month ago and thought it was a fun parade, especially for the little ones. There's a lot more interaction and more of a show than a parade. There aren't as many floats, but the ones they have are huge and are very detailed. Definitely worth it!

Just a word of advice, make sure you see it from one of the stop spots so you can get the full advantage of the Block Party. Any cast member will be more than willing to point out where they are.

California Adventure.

Yup. Seems to only run during the busy season though...
