The Girls Next Door- Season 5

The new season starts tonight on E at 10pm. The first episode is called "Hot Chocolate" and features the girls celebrating Hef's 82nd birthday! :mickey:

Holly came out to say that here and Heff are pretty much done. She has been seen canoodling with Cris Angel. Also, Kendra has been seen around Philly with an Eagles player, Hank Baskett.
Holly hinted that this season will include how and why things began to unravel.

I hate to admit it but I love this show. I would love it if the girls finally got some self respect and left Hef for some real relationships.

I'm glad one of them finally admitted they broke up. Kendra was on Chelsea Lately last night and didn't outright say it but she told Chelsea that she chats with Hank Baskett all the time, etc. She also said that Hef has so many girls coming to the house that she feels the need to lock her doors so nobody steals anything from her room.

I think this season will be interesting. :mickey:

Can anyone explain to me how these "girlfriends" work? I mean, I know Holly is/was the MAIN girlfriend and they shared a room, but what about the other girls? Does anyone have any ideas of boundries or agreements or whatever? Obviously, this being a family site, I don't want to know TOO many details, lol. Or if anyone wanted to PM me either an answer or somewhere to GET the answer, I'd appreciate it!

And did anyone notice that while the new twins are scarily orange, they are very ... not as shapely as the recent girls! Having a similar shape, I am very happy to see this. It gives me hope for my next profession!!!!! ;):thedolls:

I love this show and I do have to admit I am kind of sad this will proably be the last season. Even thought Hef is audtioning new girls to be his "girlfriends" I guess we will always have re-runs of our Puffin and his gals:thumbsup:

You may have gotten your wish. Holly and Hef have broken up and Kendra is supposed to be moving out soon.

In some odd way, it makes me a little sad that Hef and Holly broke up. Their relationship was unusual, but seemed to work well for them.

All three girls are supposed to be getting there own spinoff shows. Holly and Kendras are supposed to be on E but Bridgets will be on the Travel Channel and I believe it's called "Bridgets Beaches".:mickey:

Does anyone else notice a different "vibe" in this season? Maybe I am reading too much into it, or maybe it is because I know they have already broken up, but it just seems to me it isn't quite as lovey "puffin/muffin." It makes me wonder how long Holly was unhappy before she finally decided to look elsewhere...:confused:

Holly has said she was actually unhappy for awhile once she realized that it was impossible to have kids with Hef and that he would never marry again. I've only watched 2 episodes so far this season... I've seen pics of Hef with some of his "new" girls and I have to say I'm not impressed. I wonder what's going on with Bridget? Is she leaving too?

I had noticed that too, that it doesn't seem as touchy/feely between Hef and Holly. Did he REALLY try to have kids with her? I didn't figure he would marry her, but for awhile, I did think he might have a child with her. Is Bridget seeing someone?

Your welcome, I like that title. :thumbsup: Holly and Hef were actually seen together at a fertility clinic awhile back but I guess they decided not to go through with it. At one point Hef said he wouldn't mind having a baby with Holly but she would basically have to raise it on her own. I guess Holly wanted more than that.

Bridget is currently still living at the mansion. She was away when Kendra and Holly broke up with Hef. She was in Europe filming her new show for the Travel Channel called "Bridgets Beaches." She has been rumored to be dating a director she worked with at one point for a low-budget movie.

By the way, Kendra has confirmed that she is engaged to football player Hank Basket. I thought she would be the last one to get married out of the three!

I'm pretty sure Holly came out and said that they tried everything, from the normal way, to in vitro and everything. She talked about sticking herself with the needles all the time... Hef just can't have any more. It was deemed impossible.

Hef also can't marry Holly because he is still married to another woman. The name escapes me right now, but on the E True Hollywood Story they talk to her. She actually lives next door with their 2 sons.

I noticed it too. When Holly told Hef she was leaving for a week he was all sad about it and Holly basically just told him to get over it.

By the way, Kendra is officially engaged to Hank Basket. They have a wedding set for June at the Playboy mansion and since Kendra's father is out of the picture, he said he is going to give her away. In a wierd way I think it's very sweet. Kendra speaks so highly of Hef and how we saved her when she was going down a wrong road. Hank Basket even commented that Hef is a great man. :mickey:
