Has Intercot ever had a chat feature? How cool would it be to have a chat every week...

No, we've never had a chat feature and, honestly, it's not something we're considering adding at any point in the future.

The issue is one of family-friendliness and moderation. You know how hard INTERCOT works to maintain our family friendly atmosphere. With a chat function, that's near impossible to do.

It's just not something we feel is part of the core values of INTERCOT.

I'd love to chat with my intercot friends!

I know it'd be hard to moderate however I feel like most of the people around here know what's allowed and what's not. I wonder if there's feature in any kind of chat setup where a moderator could kick someone out for breaking the roles.

Sorry all, this has been discussed numerous times before and it's not something that fits in well with the way we run this site.
