Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Question

We are going in November for 7 nights/8 days. We purchased tickets for 7 days, as our return flight is at noon. We have since decided to attend the Christmas party, which from what I understand is about $48 when purchased in advanced. Do we have to use this ticket in conjunction with our park admission for that day? Just curious!

You can get in the park using only your party ticket as early as 4pm. If you go to any park prior to that time you would need to use a separate park ticket.

MVMCP Ticket gets you into the MK after 4PM. If you want to go to any of the parks prior to 4PM, you would need to use a normal park pass to get in.

Said another way, if you only want to go into the park for the party, you don't need to use a day off your park passes - only the party ticket.

The party ticket is seperate admission. However, you can get in with just the mvmcp ticket at 4pm, and stay til through the party.
