When do ME tags arrive?

We got our ME tags about 30 days before our trip this year. I've gotten them as late as 1-2 weeks prior to our departure date on previous trips.

I got my Magical Express tags on September
12th and we are leaving October 18th, so a month in advance!

From reading many threads, it is very random. Some people get them very early, some get them close to departure. There could be any number of reasons for when people get there package: mail delivery times, lost package in mail, delay in getting it shipped on DME side. I wouldn't be too worried about it. At 14-days out, if I do not have my package, I would call them to check. The worst that would happen is that I would not have the tags. All I would do is mark the luggage with something and let DME check-in know how to identify my luggage.

We are leaving October 31st and I just signed up yesterday and was told I should have mine within 7 business days. I hope it's not a month because we will be gone already.

What does one do if they don't arrive by the time you are leaving for your trip?

Mark your luggage with something unique: bright orange reflective X on both sides for example. When you get to the DME check-in desk, let them know you did not have the DME tags in time. Give them a description and number of bags. They will also ask for the claim tickets. They will pull your bags for you and deliver them as normal.

Just so happened to get ours in the mail 2 days ago for our Nov 7th trip which is 38 days out.

We received ours 5 weeks ahead and had used AAA. 3 weeks to go!!

We always use Magical Express and the tags seem to come at a different time each trip. This year we received the tags about 6 weeks out, but like a previous poster said, it can be kind of random.

I recceived mine 38 days before our trip.

We received ours Today (yeah!!) and we have 40 more sleeps until we leave:cloud9:. I don't remember them coming that early last year.
