Can you bring the flat iron on the plane as carry on? Or does it have to be packed in the suitcase? Thanks.

Flat Iron? You're talking about an iron for clothes? Most hotel rooms have these, check and save yourself some weight on your now limited luggage requirements.

No --- talking about the flat iron for your hair. Can that be brought onto the plane as carry on?

I've taken my curling iron in my carry on. Seems like they're more interested in liquids.

I've never had a problem with mine.

I won't leave home without mine! I always take it in my carry-on in case my checked bag doesn't take the same flight I do. :(

That is why I want to carry mine on the plane. I'd be lost without it!!

Yeah, you can carry it on. I did on my last flight. No problem.

I always figure I can get my hair dry one way or the other, but I could never get it curled. Have a great trip - we leave the day after you arrive!
