St. Augustine....

I have always wanted to go to St. Augustine (or that general area where there are beaches and beaches and beaches that aren't crowded).

I'd love to rent a place that is RIGHT ON THE BEACH...literally. Walk out the door, into the sand, and in the water.

Does anyone have suggestions on any places that are reputable, CLEAN and decent for my husband, 7 year old son and I.

I'd appreciate it.

St. Augustine is a beautiful town and I'm sure that you'ld enjoy it there - very peaceful! However, DW and I only stayed intown at one of the Howard Johnsons.

You may want to try Ormond Beach. Daytona and Coco Beach can be hit or miss for a family friendly environment. Hopefully someone will come along that has stayed at one of the beach side resorts.
