Refurbished Wilderness Lodge Villas

Has anyone recently been at the Villas at Wilderness lodge and if so was their villa one of the rebursbished ones?

I read that all the Villas were getting new carpet, paint, some chairs and fabric and would be completed by Nov.

Just wondering how the freshing up looks.

Didn't know they had plans to. They could sure use it. We spend a long week end there every January in the cooler weather. This past Jan it was in the 40's. We froze but it was lotsa fun. Looking forward to a new look, maybe flat screens too.:thumbsup:

Just saw that in this month's Disney Files magazine. I know they say mid Nov completion but am hoping for our trip Nov 3-10

I had no idea they were refurbing the WLV rooms.... That makes the DVC thing a little more tempting to me as that is our favorite place to stay but preferred the lodge rooms to the villas decor.....

Does anyone have photos?!?!

I go in 12 days. I'm hoping for a refurbished room. I will take pictures if I get one.

I went for the first time last month. I don't know if my two rooms were updated or not, because I have nothing to compare them to, but I'd have to say they weren't.

I'm anxious to know about this as well. We are staying at VWL in January and I would love to have a refurbished room.
