MIckeys Christmas Party

I will be arriving to Disney on Dec. 19. I plan on going to the Magic Kingdom first thing & spending the day there. I am worried that MK will be super crowded because of the Christmas party any advice?

Christmas crowds begin arriving right around the time you're getting there so that's likely to drive up Magic Kingdom crowds even without a party that night.

Generally, a Magic Kingdom party does not increase crowding in the park until the afternoon. Around 4, Disney will begin to admit those who have party tickets.

Really? I disagree with the statement concerning the parks (not the general level of capacity).

I think that after the day parade, the parks empty out on party nights (generally speaking) because most people acknowledge the closing at 7pm. After 3-4pm, I can usually get one BTM, SM, SplM, and PP several times between 4-7pm. Those are the ones with the longest lines usually.
