Disney Mania Question #8

You return to your resort one evening after a long day of touring :faint: and some unknown, yet fabulous, person has left you a $1000 Disney Gift Card. You can spend it one of two ways, either shopping :shop: exclusively at the various WDW resorts or at Downtown Disney but not at both (the park shops are not an option :sorry: ). Which do you choose? Resort hopping shopping or Downtown Disney Shopping?

Ooooh! That's a tough one, because I love going in the resort shops, but I had to go with DTD because of WOD and Pin Traders. I could spend a ton of money in both of those stores!

I do love shopping, but I'm really not much of a Downtown Disney fan. This one was easy. I love shopping at the resorts, and it's fun to see the different decor and some of the more unique items at each. Resorts for me.

For sure DD! I love the World of Disney store and could without a doubt spend $1000 there VERY easily!:mickey:

I love going to all the resort shops, or anywhere shopping actually :blush:, but I had to go with DTD. I love the WoD and as a Pooh and friends addict and chocolate lover (I love Goofy's Candy Co.) I would be able to spend that money in a heartbeat! That's not even considering all the other stores I haven't been in yet. :cloud9:

I like shopping at both, but I bought a little more at DTD.

DTD for me theres so much choice and i find the atmosphere different from day to night :thumbsup:

Don't get me wrong- I LOVE DTD !! but i have found some interesting stuff in the resort shops that i cant find in other places- i like the uniqueness of getting a wilderness lodge shirt or hat...
So its a tough call

Downtown Disney because they have Summer Sands...there is no way I could ever spend $1,000 in the Resorts for shopping...and I could never spend that much on Disney stuff. I could easily spend it on clothes, though.

The Resorts are nice but DTD has too much to offer. I have to go with DTD

We usually spend one night doing all of our shopping at DTD. That is my vote!:thumbsup:

Absolutely the resorts - there's more uniqueness to the shops. Plus I'd probably blow most of it in the shops at the Polynesian.

I went with DTD because of WOD, the christmas shop and the scrapbook store. Oh yeah the toy store too.:mickey:

Resorts and DTD are great places to shop as
well as the gift shops in all the parks. :thumbsup:

I chose the resort hopping shopping as I would love to have pins and shirts from every resort.

Also, I hate DtD at night, well...let me put it this way...WoD is too crowded at the end of the night. So saying I hate DtD is not a true statement.

Love the shops at DTD. At most resorts I have been disapointed in what I have seen.
