View Full Version : Myrtle Area in November??

We missed our summer beach trip this year due to medical reasons. (everyone is OK now, thanks.) We are on a wait list at DVC. We are planning to stay in the myrtle area for Thanksgiving week. Does any one have any experience with this time of year there? weather, attractions, what to expect? Thanks.

weather should be in the 60's, colder at night. There will be alot of Christmas show the Carolina Opry is good and the Dixie Stampede Christmas show is good. It should be very quiet as there will not be alot of people. Some attractions will be closed but you should be able to find plenty to do.

Just saw online that Hard Rock Park is closed for the season. Up until a few weeks ago, they did have weekends listed as TBA.

I'm at MB this week, actually Surfside Beach, and Hard Rock has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. The local media reports that they plan on reopening in the spring, but some don't think it will happen.
