help decide ddplan

i am taking 2 of my granddaughters to wdw in may, they are 10 and 13. i have the dining plan and just got to thinking, wow $800.00 for seven days at disney for the food plan for the three of us. that really seems like a lot of money. the 13 yr. old is really a light eater and we have enjoyed the dining plan before but that was when the appetizer and tip were included. i am debating about what to do. please, and suggestions. my daughter, her dh and twin 3 year olds are also going it will cost them 100.00 a day. thank you for your ideas.:confused:

Is this for the counter service plan or which for 2009? They have several different options for 2009. Personally, we prefer not to do the DDP. It's just not a good value for us, especially since we don't do TS every day, and don't even do 2 CS's in one day usually. It's much cheaper to bring our own breakfast and eat at the food court or at DTD.

If I were you I would go for the counter service plan. Its new in 2009.
