Love Bugs Out Yet?

I'm leaving for WDW on Thursday, 9/25...can anyone tell me if the love bugs have arrivied yet??:mickey:

I got back Sept 9th and I only saw about 3 the WHOLE time we were their.

I'm hoping they will have come and gone by the time we arrive Oct 19th. I know they're harmless, but they're still gross and they give me the heebie jeebies.

They were out in pretty good numbers today, especially in the DHS parking lot. 3 or 4 "sets" landed on my bus windshield on one trip. But not so many as to be scary.

Just got back today from a week long trip & I only saw 2 the whole week. I couldn't believe it.

If they aren't out down there now, they must be moving up here quickly then because they have been out in droves for over a week up here in AL. Usually they are out in FL before AL but I haven't heard many say they are out much in FL. We are hoping they are about through here in AL and moving north. :D

My wife and I are also arriving on the 19th. Our one-year wedding anniversary is the 20th. We're staying at SSR in a studio (hopefully with a DTD view).

If you don't mind my asking, where are you staying?

We have an 8 p.m. flight back home on Friday the 24th. We love booking evening flights, because it gives us extra Disney time. We usually do a character bfast and then spend the rest of the day visiting resorts we're interested in for future trips.

We're doing Fantasmic for the first time this trip, with the dinner package at H&V.

Do you have anything special planned?

I can assure you they won't be out in great numbers this year due to the active storm season we had.

Two years ago, they were everywhere. I mean, we were swatting them out of our face constantly (literally) for a whole week.

I'm going Oct. 5-11.

Thanks for the well wishes! We are staying at POR. We're celebrating DS 1st birthday on the 22nd with a character breakfast at Crystal Palace. We're also planning on attending MNSSHP on the 21st which will be a 1st for us. We can't wait. Happy anniversary and I hope you have a fabulous trip!

You're going to love MNSSHP.

You'll be humming the song from the Boo To You parade for a couple of days and the fireworks are spectacular from anywhere in the park.

We got back on 9/21. We noticed some, but they weren't bad at all. My In-Laws are still down there and they haven't had a problem with the either.
