Refund on Delta Bag Charge

In case anyone is flying Delta and booked before April 5th, if you pay the $25 for an extra bag, you are eligible for a refund. Just save your reciept and go online for the paperwork.:thumbsup:

I just read about this on Delta's website. My question is, if I purchased my airfare before April 5 (purchased back in January) will I be charged anyway and then have to go through the refund process after my trip? I don't plan on having a second bag to check, but it would be nice to know for sure in case I do a little too much shopping in Disney. :blush:

Yes, that is how I understand it. I called and talked to a live agent just to make sure. We purchased our tix in Feb. He said you have to make the purchase up front and then fill out the paperwork and they will send you the refund. I agree, may not need it, but nice to know if we are in a pinch!!
