What are our chances?

OK, we have an ADR for Chef Mickey's at 8:50 for dinner. Spectromagic is at 8:00 & Wishes is at 10:00. We don't want to miss either one. I've been calling for about 2 weeks to see if we could get something earlier, but nothing is available. What are our chances of getting an earlier ADR at Chef Mickey's? Or should we just walk over around 5:00 & see if we can get in then? We leave in 7 days!!!!

Keep on calling until the day you leave. Something may open up. But your best bet might be to call once you are on property, or to ask at the concierge desk of your resort when you check in. If you're going to try to get a "walk in," do so a bit before the restaurant actually opens for dinner at 5:00 (say maybe 4:40-4:45). Good luck!

A friend of mine was there in July and she had no problem changing her ADRs around once she was actually there. Keep trying before you go but don't give up, try when you are there too.

You can pay once you sit down and have the check taken care of and you have 40 min. to eat. Here is a tip, skip the photography at the beginning, if you skip, they will seat YOU first. Then get started, eat and see the characters then say Ta Ta! You will be in and out of there with pics of the kids with the characters in about 35 min. Then you can just walk to MK or take the monorail and you won't miss either one.
