on our next trip to disney we are thinking on using the dinning plan, we do have a few questions:
-can you have more than one character breakfast?
-dose the plan include drinks?
-when you make resv and using the dinning plan can other poeple that are not using the plan dine with you?

You can have as many character meals as you have nights that you stay, unless its royal table, that counts as 2. We like character dining.
If you get a buffet then it includes drinks (non alcoholic that is) and the entire buffet. If it is a regular table service it includes drink (non alcoholic), dinner, and a dessert of your choice.
Yes, just make the reservation for how many want to eat. The dining plan will be figured out whenever the waitress asks who is on what ticket, just as when you dine out normally. That will all get sorted.
Plan your snacks ahead of time though, so you use them all. We look up the snack list of approved snacks and print it out and take it with us so we can plan before the day starts. That way we use all of our snacks and towards the end of the trip you can plan to pick up a non perishable snack here and there in case it doesnt get eaten and needs to make the trip home! If you aren't a big eater, bring a small soft cooler to carry on the plane with you. You will prob have snacks that could could bring back and will need a insulated protector. We had fruit I could've saved with some planning but we ended up throwing away A LOT of food that wouldve come in handy after we got home to an empty fridge.

You can dine with other people, they just separate the checks...the plan includes non-alcoholic beverages and you can do as many character meals as you want...just be mindful of how many credits may be required (most only use 1, but CRT uses 2 along with dinner shows and other signature restaurants)
