I thought someone had written last week that they may open today. Anyone there that can confirm or provide any truth to this rumor? We arrive at CBR this Friday.

I called CBR today, 9/8/08. The operator said the pool is not open and will not open until 9/15/08. My opinion is that you never know what they will do, in reality.

Bummer. Well we are there through the 16th so at least we will get to check it out toward the end of our stay. Thanks for letting me know what you found out.

I read that it will only be open 10am to 10pm and that they would lock the gate.

FYI, we are here at the CBR right now and the main pool opened yesterday!! We checked in on Monday and they still told us maybe the 15th but the ladies at the pool bar said they were told to open the bar early yesterday which meant to them that the place was opening early and they were right. :)

I am so excited - we are going in October. I saw pictures of the new kiddie pool area and I'm pretty sure my kids are going to love it! My son keeps asking when we can ride the pirate ship! Hopefully, I will be able to pull him away from the pool enough to get to the parks!

The new pool looks amazing!! I just saw pictures taken this morning. Gosh, the kiddie area really looks neat with the dumping bucket. Apparently, you can hear when its about ready to tip and it makes QUITE the splash. I may have to take some fun pictures of my mom and I getting soaked. :)

I just saw that you are a Red Sox and Patriots fan. We are going to be in WDW the same time as you and staying at CBR. All my kids have their Patriots jerseys for the Monday Night game (vs. Denver on the 20th) - they'll be wearing them all day that Monday. So, if you see three little cuties (ages 3.5, 2, and 10 months) in Patriots gear running all over the parks and CBR, it might just be us! :mickey:
