Hot, humid fun in the sun......NOT!
We see the mousekeeping staff in the hallway and ask if they have found bun-bun....no luck. This is crazy, where could she have gone too?
Saturday - August 16th - Today is a late Chef Mickey breakfast with Will and Shannon, Matt and Phyllis and a friend from another forum. We met up with them after getting soaked from walking to Contemporary from boat launch. Not funny!! We get seated after a quick picture, that no one purchases. We sit and the characters arrive rather quickley. Again, we are having breafast at 1120 and close the restaurant. We get some photos that we tricked (http://entertainment.webshots.com/photo/2808748490042804337OsmeZX) her into. We get a silly pix of Matt, Keegan, Will and Shannon. Will and Shannon (http://entertainment.webshots.com/photo/2776880280042804337XHVyij), Mattie (http://entertainment.webshots.com/photo/2597154220042804337LnabEY), and Keara (http://entertainment.webshots.com/photo/2415116480042804337RcpuZn) were having fun too. The server brought the girls a light up Tinkerbell, just because she said they rushed the characters through, which they really didn't, that it was late and they were cleaning up the buffet, but we all had plenty of food! What a nice surprise. She said she would have brought the whole set up with the cup and straw, but figured no one wanted to carry the cups and straws throughout the park. She got a little extra from our four parties!! She was awesome. We finish up and we head for MK, while the rest head for AK. This is their last full day in the parks, so they are finishing up things they missed. We are all supposed to go to dinner tonight again at Chef Mickey's, but since we didn't finish breakfast again until after noon time, we are skipping dinner. We head off to meet up with Kathy. She texts that she is at Plaza having lunch. This is one of our favorites, but didn't hit it this time. Not really sure why. I hear they liked it. We rode HM and Keara was being fussy. It was also raining, still off and on. She wouldn't settle down, all she did was fuss and scream, and wanted to be held. After a while, we decide it would be best to take her back to the room for some rest. We texted Kathy to let her know. What I kick myself for now is I didn't realize what day this was. Our last with them, they were leaving in the morning. I don't know why, but I was thinking I had another day with them. I felt really bad that we missed out on our last night together.
After a nice nap, it is still raining, we decide to walk down to Roaring Forks for some dinner. We have so many QS credits to be using. We have had some breakfast there as well. The pancakes are great, as well as their croissant sandwiches. So we ordered bacon cheeseburgers, fries, drinks, get chocolate bundt cakes, cookies and mickey crispies treats. After dinner we try out the pool. Keara seems to be feeling better. She is sitting in her floatie (http://entertainment.webshots.com/photo/2104930100042804337lGMQfB), ready to go. We have a good time in the pool, and then get a movie and watch that and some olympic covereage and head for bed.
Next up.......Uh oh....someone is getting worse.
