I don't know what it is about the Poly beds, or curtains, or anything..but we just sleep sooo well there. We woke up feeling really rested, and we went to a breakfast ADR at Kona's. Our most favorite breakfast spot in all of WDW. My girls each had a Tonga toast, my DH and I had the Macadamia Pineapple pancakes, and my little guy, the Mickey ones. A long brewed pressed pot of coffee and we were good to go. We didn't quite have enough MK the night before, so we hopped on the monorail for our first full day in our favorite park. I took my traditional kids holding hands walking towards the castle on Main Street pic! http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp324/lcrimando/DSCF1720.jpg I take the same picture each trip, and it is probably the only place on earth I will see my kids holding hands! Only at WDW does this kind of magic live, right??;) We had one of those easy days in the MK, where the day flowed really well. We had this slow steady trickle of rain that enabled us to walk on almost anything! Even Dumbo! http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp324/lcrimando/DSCF1728.jpg We covered almost the entire park at a relaxed pace before our lunch at CRT! This was a surprise to us. The lunch was just terrific. Both the food and character interaction were great! We had breakfast here a few trips ago and didn't care for it. It felt rushed, like a princess factory. Lunch was totally different. It was relaxed and really, really yummy. My son took an immediate liking to Jasmine which has me worried.. http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp324/lcrimando/DSCF1746.jpg She was the only princess that was half dressed and he's still talking about her!! The pot pie was delish, both my husband and myself had it.http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp324/lcrimando/DSCF1748.jpg My daughter Katie really gets into wishing, and both girls had fun with the wishing ceremony!http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp324/lcrimando/DSCF1744.jpg All and all, this lunch was a hit. We headed back to the Poly after a quick ride on Splash Mountain. We spent the remainder of the afternoon having Poly time before our ADR at Narcoosees. We walked over on the path from the Poly to the GF and arrived really sweaty. The humidity at this point was at about 1,000 percent!! This was a top notch experience for us as a family. http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp324/lcrimando/DSCF1766.jpg The food was incredible, the service excellent. We had a table by the window across from the castle. They had personalized menus for my DH's birthday, and I didn't even ask for them! I was as surprised as he was!! Both Steve and I had the surf and turf http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp324/lcrimando/DSCF1773.jpg One DD had the chicken, the other the filet. Even the kids meal was terrific! http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp324/lcrimando/DSCF1772.jpg We had creme brulees and key lime pie for dessert and did I mention we were on the deluxe dining plan???? Yikes. This was a wonderful meal, but we just ate enough calories for the week. We pretty much decided at this point that we would not do the deluxe dining plan again. It was waaaaay too much food, and as we learned as the week went on..waaay too much time. We walked back home on the path and watched the Electrical Parade and Wishes from our balcony.
