Just a reminder: Characters:
BethanyMouse- me, 26 years old, school psychologist and full time docotral student. Dreamed of the Magic Kingdom during statistics class this year, ready for a vacation!

Anthony- Disney Fiance, 28 years old, celebrating his master's degree and a break from work and school!
We were on the disney dining plan and enjoyed some great food! We tried some new resturants and revisited our favorites! We also utilized Garden Grocer!

Day 6, August 9

We were up and out early this morning. The alarm went off at 7 and we showered and headed out. It was a cloudy morning as we headed to EMH at Animal Kingdom. We stuck to our plan, FP Everest and riding it (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008449.jpg). What a great ride as always. We decided to wait on line for Kali, which opens at 9. We had a great family on board with us which makes it that much better. I am so glad that we didnt wait long on line for this though, since it always seems so short. We got soaked! Anthony had taken his poncho and wrapped it around his sneakers. Me, I was sporting the crocs so I was good to go! Stopped to get some pics (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008447.jpg) in front of Everest! Off to the safari (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008415.jpg), we got some great pics of animals and had a great ride. As soon as we got on line for the safari though, the skies opened up! It was pouring. Perfect timing again! We were hungry but opted to do ITTBAB (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008439.jpg) first. It is a good one, but can be a bit too scary for little ones. We did have a few criers. We stopped in a shop along the way and Anthony was so excited to see this chip and dale (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008442.jpg)stuffed animal with my shirt! He made me take a picture and insisted I needed it. We were having so much fun, but we were starving so we opted to head to Pizzafari. Our old favorite! After eating our cold cut sandwiches we stopped for a picture in front of the Tree of Life (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008404.jpg)on our way over to EE. On our way we say Baloo (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008406.jpg) and then Lilo and Stitch (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008438.jpg)! We finally got to everest and it was great as always but it was starting to rain a bit. I hoped to catch a some shopping in the EE gift shop for my brother but by then it was downpouring and everyone was squeezed in the shop from outside to stay dry. It was extremely frustrating actually. Forget looking in the store, you could barely walk! But I reminded myself, I am in disney!!! Yay! We decided to head back to the Pop and try to catch pool time, hoping that the rain would slow up. We showered and changed once we got back to the Pop and decided to head back to the Wedding Pavillion to get some pictures of inside the pavillion (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008455.jpg) since it was closed the other day for a wedding. It was even more beautiful inside (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008463.jpg) then I could have ever imagined (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008472.jpg)! No matter where you looked it was gorgeous (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008465.jpg)! We also got to see the bride's vestibule (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008461.jpg)and where the bridal party waits (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008457.jpg) to walk in. So magical!

After getting our fill we caught the bus to DTD. Wolfgang Puck cafe, our all time favorite, must do!!!!! We were super excited to get that pumpkin ravioli! Yum Yum! We both decided to have appetizers. Anthony went with a sushi sampler (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008501.jpg)and I opted for a salad (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008502.jpg). Both were delicious. We of course got our pumpkin ravioli (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008503.jpg), as we had been craving it for the entire year! Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. In fact, I could go for some right now! For dessert, Anthony went with the mud pie ice cream cake (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008505.jpg)and I got carrot cake. (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008509.jpg) After dinner we were planning on heading into a park but instead we decided to shop in DTD. I picked out our ornaments and we got some great gifts. We got some practice on the bride and groom mickey ears (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008510.jpg)too! We also broke down and got some disney crocs (http://s95.photobucket.com/albums/l134/bethanymouse/Disney%20world%202008/?action=view&current=DisneyWorld2008633.jpg)! I am a croc girl as it is and I now have Anthony a croc man! Let me tell you, I used the most of the rest of the trip and they were fabulous! We finally went back to the Pop and off to bed! It was a great great great day!

I can't describe that day as anything but joyful! First I have to say that Chip and Dale plush was adorable. I hope they have it at Disneyland next month. Loved all the pictures in the wedding chapel, you both are just beaming. Thanks for sharing with us Bethany. :mickey:

Hi Bethany!
We were there some of the same time as you and spent five nights in the Tuvalu bldg at the Poly. We were very close to the wedding Pavillion, our room was the last on the side closest to it, on the third floor. The beach next to our room led right to the pavillion. When we saw a wedding happening (and there were many during our stay!) my girls would run down the beach to watch the procession and picture taking. It was so very special. They saw 4 different weddings during our stay, and when we walked to Narcoosees for dinner from our room, as a family we all saw a wedding procession. How exciting!
