Today we wake up refreshed and feeling better. Megan has no stomach complaints - we think it was all travel related, not to mention the popcorn, grape juice, and heat. We're off to AK (http://inlinethumb43.webshots.com/41322/2717025320102032678S600x600Q85.jpg) and awaiting the arrival of Kristen and Ben. Immediately after entering the park, we headed over to Asia and got FP for EE. We decided to head straight from here to the Safari but stopped at the Kid's Discovery location in Asia where Megan and Stephanie were each given a coupon for free Vitamin Water from . We decided to save those for later and headed for the Safari. While there, Kristen called to say they were in the park and on the Pagani trail. They had FPs for the Safari so we figured we should finish about the same time and agreed to meet at the exit of the ride. We had a great Safari, saw lots of great animals - the baby giraffe was right next to the road, the lioness was awake and watchful, the elephant family was out and on the move, and one of the rhinos was also right next to the road. And fortunately, we were able to save that poor baby elephant from the poachers so he could be reunited with his mom. After such an eventful trip, we met up with Kristen and family and headed to Pizzafari for lunch. After lunch, it was time for our FPs for EE. Megan, Ben, Katy, and Keara didn't ride so our 4 FPs worked out for me, Phil, Steph, and Kristen. After battling the Yeti, we moved on to Dinoland where Megan was finally tall enough for PW. While Kristen and Katy took my girls on PW, which Megan's not sure she liked, the rest of us trekked over to DINOSAUR to get FP's. When the girls were done though, Kristen's party decided they were all tired from an early morning wake up for their flight so we parted ways for them to get some much needed rest. We rode DINOSAUR (http://inlinethumb08.webshots.com/7751/2835756170102032678S600x600Q85.jpg) without them then went to see Nemo. After, we headed over to Camp Minnie-Mickey where we watched FotLK (wonderful as always), Pocohontas (I'll miss this one), and saw Donald (http://inlinethumb48.webshots.com/42927/2239538350102032678S600x600Q85.jpg), Mickey (http://inlinethumb51.webshots.com/42034/2514042130102032678S600x600Q85.jpg), Goofy (http://inlinethumb08.webshots.com/27655/2019825270102032678S600x600Q85.jpg), and Minnie (http://inlinethumb08.webshots.com/28743/2964730720102032678S600x600Q85.jpg). We had a delicious dinner at Flame Tree but the entertainment there was a bit flighty (http://inlinethumb43.webshots.com/20074/2649926390102032678S600x600Q85.jpg). On our way out, we decided to stop by the old boat dock which is now the spot for character greetings with Pooh and friends. Too our delight, the place was nearly deserted but Pooh (http://inlinethumb19.webshots.com/42002/2661581690102032678S600x600Q85.jpg), Eeyore (http://inlinethumb64.webshots.com/22015/2609450470102032678S600x600Q85.jpg), Piglet (http://inlinethumb21.webshots.com/148/2097552300102032678S600x600Q85.jpg), and Tigger (http://inlinethumb11.webshots.com/43594/2203614990102032678S600x600Q85.jpg) were all there! As we were leaving, Pooh was taking a honey break and Megan got to escort him there (http://inlinethumb27.webshots.com/40730/2367373960102032678S600x600Q85.jpg). At this point, it was time for AK to close so we decided to head over to MK (http://inlinethumb06.webshots.com/41541/2314966550102032678S600x600Q85.jpg) for a bit, riding the ferry from the TTC. We rode JC in the dark - I still prefer it during the day - and hit a few other attractions before calling it a night. I was supposed to deliver the bottled water and diapers to Kristen at VWL but after talking to her on the phone, we agreed to do it first thing in the am. Tomorrow - Epcot and our first of 3 mini-meets!
